Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up of the post of “Senior Research Fellow” & “Junior Research Fellow” one post each on adhoc basis for the DST-CSI funded project entitled “Neural correlates of well being associated with Mindfulness Meditation: a Neuropsycho-physiological and Neuroimaging Study” under Dr.Bindu M.Kutty, Prof. & Head, Dept. of Neurophysiology & Principal Investigator
1. Name of the post - Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
No. of post - One
Educational Qualification - M.Phil in Neurophysiology/Neuroscience/ or Masters degree in Neuroscience/ Lifescience or M.B.B.S/M.D./B.Tech/M.Tech/M.E. with good academic records.
Eligibility - Minimum two years of research experience in EEG/ERP or fMRI studies with proficiency in Matlab / EEG lab and with one publication in International Journal
Age Limit - 35 Years (Relaxed upper age limit by two years in case of woman candidates/SC/ ST)
Emoluments - `20,000/- + HRA @ 30% p.m.
Duration of the project - Initial appointment will be for a period of six months, which will be extendable every six months till the end of the project, depending upon the performance of the candidate
2. Name of the post - Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
No. of Post - One
Educational Qualification - Masters Degree in Neurosciences/Life Sciences/Clinical Psychology or M.Phil in
Neurophysiology/Neuroscience B.Tech/M.E./M.B.B.S with good academic record
Experience - Research experience in EEG/ERP studies/Clinical Psychology, Proficiency in Matlab/EEG lab.
Maximum Age Limit - 32 Years (Relaxed upper age limit by two years in case of woman candidates / SC /ST)
Emoluments - `16,000/- + HRA @ 30% p.m.(1st and 2nd Year)
Rs.18,000/- + HRA @ 30% p.m. (3rd Year)
Duration of the Project - Initial appointment will be for a period of six months, which will be extendable every six months till the end of the project, depending upon the performance of thecandidate
