Name of the Project : Assessment of the Socio-economic Impact of FMD and its Control in India
No. of Posts : Total - Thirteen (13) [One each for Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala; Three for Karnataka]
Place of posting / work : Candidates who are proficient in respective regional languages (matriculate certificate to be produced), if selected, would be posted in their respective state
Mode : Purely on Contract (Temporary)
Essential Qualifications : MSc (Ag) in Agricultural Economics / MBM in Agribusiness Management /
MBA (Agriculture & Rural Management or Agribusiness Management or Food Business) / MSc (Ag) in Agricultural Extension or Extension Education) / MSc (Ag) in Agricultural Statistics /MSc (Ag) in Agricultural Marketing & Cooperation / MVSc or MSc in Livestock Economics or Dairy Economics or Animal Husbandry Economics /
MVSc or MSc in Veterinary Extension or Dairy Extension or Animal Husbandry Extension MVSc in Biostatistics
Desirable experience : (i) PhD in the relevant subject
(ii) Expertise in statistical techniques using SPSS, SAS, etc.
(iii) Proficiency in computer skills
(iv) Knowledge in mathematical modeling
Age : 18 to 35 years for men &18 to 40 years for women
(Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC & PH as per rules)
Emoluments : Rs. 23000 / month (consolidated) + HRA as per rules for MSc or MVSc or MBA or MBM
Rs. 24000 / month (consolidated) + HRA as per rules for PhD
Date, Time &Venue : 22 April, 2013, 11 a.m. & Committee Room at PDADMAS, Bangalore
Desirous applicants may appear for a Walk-in-Interview on the aforesaid date, time and
venue along with a typed written application in plain paper showing details of bio-data. The
model application format is available on the Directorate’s website (www.pdadmas.ernet.in).
They should present themselves for certificate verification at the same venue at 9.00 a.m. on that
day. The candidates should bring latest passport size photograph and all original certificates
starting from matriculate till highest degree, together with their attested photocopies for this
interview. No separate call letter for interview shall be issued. The position is purely temporary
on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project, i.e. upto the end of March 2015. The
institute will not be held responsible to give regular appointment after expiry of the project. No
TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview |
